Avengers: Doomsday

I film della MCU – Marvel Cinematic Universe – dedicati agli Avengers sono iniziati ben 12 anni fa, quando nel 2012 uscì al cinema The Avengers, mentre l’ultimo uscito è Avengers: Endgame nel 2019.

Ogni film uscito fino ad ora – quattro in totale – hanno stupito i fan con le grandi sorprese che i produttori annunciano di volta in volta e Avengers: Doomsday non sarà da meno: andiamo a scoprire tutte le novità uscite a riguardo!

Grandi rivelazioni al San Diego Comic-Con 2024, svoltosi dal 25 al 28 luglio 2024, riguardo il film Avengers: Doomsday, in uscita nelle sale a maggio 2026.

La prima straordinaria rivelazione è quella che nessuno si sarebbe mai aspettato – nonostante alcune voci erano già in circolazione settimane fa – ma che tutti, in fondo, speravano: il ritorno di Robert Downey Jr. nel mondo MCU! L’attore, che ha precedentemente ricoperto il ruolo di Iron Man / Tony Stark, ricoprirà questa volta il ruolo di Dottor Doom.

Il modo in cui è stata rivelata questa notizia è stato davvero fantastico: sul palco del Comic-Con sono salite varie persone avvolte in un mantello e con la maschera di Doom. Il tempo di posizionarsi sul palco che all’improvviso una di esse si è fatta avanti, scoprendo il volto, facendo apparire quello del Tony Stark cinematografico.

A quel punto i fan erano impazziti di gioia, concludendo il panel Marvel con il botto!

Downey Jr. ha successivamente pubblicato una foto sul suo profilo Instagram, in cui è raffigurato lui con il mantello verde e che guarda la maschera che da quel momento farà parte di lui, il tutto accompagnato dalla didascalia “New mask, same task” vale a dire “Nuova maschera, stessa missione”.

Ma riguardo il come verrà gestito il personaggio di Dottor Doom ci sono vari quesiti, ai quali riusciremo dare risposta solo vedendo Avengers: Doosday tra due anni al cinema.

Nei fumetti, il personaggio di Victor Von Doom è uno dei villain più temuti e complicati dell’Universo Marvel, ma Downey Jr. potrebbe interpretare una versione differente rispetto a quella che i fan già conoscono, caratterizzando il personaggio come una “variante impazzita” di Tony Stark che in seguito diventerà Dottor Doom.

Altra novità di Avengers: Doomsday è la regia che verrà presa in carico dai fratelli Joe ed Anthony Russo: durante il panel dedicato alla Marvel del Comic-Con, prima che Downey Jr. salisse sul palco, hanno sottolineato come questo personaggio sia uno dei più complessi, per cui era necessario trovare un attore che riuscisse a dar voce a questa poliedricità.
