Cena di un salaryman
Il salaryman è una figura che nel nostro angolo di mondo è conosciuta prevalentemente grazie all’animazione e alla cultura pop giapponese.
Si tratta di una tipologia di lavoratore stipendiato impiegato in grandi aziende per svolgere lavori d’ufficio. Salary, ovviamente ,perché sono salariati.
Quando sono comparsi attorno agli anni ‘30, i salaryman potevano ricoprire anche ruoli di rilievo e la peculiarità d’essere salariati, quindi a stipendio fisso, li rendeva dei privilegiati, nonché un ottimo partito.
Nel moderno Giappone capitalista questa figura ha assunto un’altra connotazione, quasi kafkiana, di un individuo succube della propria azienda, in costante precarietà e comunque propenso a svolgere straordinari non pagati.
In Giappone infatti è comune che un lavoratore dedichi alla propria azienda ore di lavoro extra non retribuite; la cosa vale anche per chi ricopre incarichi importanti, ma è chiaro che chi occupa un posto più importante possa riversare tutti i compiti della giornata sui salaryman, ai quali non rimane che svolgere il proprio dovere e tornare a casa tardi per ritornare presto il mattino dopo alla propria scrivania. Non prima però, di aver consumato una cena in un locale.
Spesso si beve molto con i colleghi e si smaltisce la sbornia nelle poche ore di sonno.
Altre volte si cena in solitudine.
